I’m a Product Marketing Manager with 11 years of experience in B2B SaaS. I love all things Product - but most of all, I love building compelling, easy-to-understand stories around complex products.
Spent the first 6 years of my career as a generalist that owned all things marketing. 5 years ago, I switched to Product Marketing when I joined Freshworks (NASDAQ: FRSH).
As a PMM, I've worked closely with multiple teams to deliver product growth. I've executed the GTM for new products and features, enabled sellers, shaped product development, contributed to marketing efforts, and a lot more.
Engineering to marketing
I took up Industrial and Production engineering right after school. Realized pretty quickly that it wasn’t for me. Got fascinated by startups and started learning more about them. Ran a student startup on campus for a year. On the side, I continued my hobby of blogging. Towards the end of college, I knew my career would be at the intersection of startups and writing - and I began pursuing marketing roles in startups.
End-to-end marketing roles in B2B SaaS
For the first 6 years of my career, I took up generalist marketing roles in B2B SaaS startups. I was wearing multiple hats and contributing to all things marketing - Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and everything in between. I was writing a lot of content, creating a lot of decks, running campaigns, leading small teams, and owning individual channels such as SEO, email, website, etc.
Product Marketing at Freshworks
As part of the Freshworks PMM team, I handle various products and features for Freshdesk - a suite of products for managing customer service. In this role, I’ve delivered the go-to-market launches for new products, built sales enablement tools and marketing collaterals, ran adoption programs, guided larger integrated marketing campaigns, and more.
